Words Have Power Online

Online messages can be read over and over again. A mean comment can hurt someone long after you've forgotten you wrote it. Before you post, ask: Is it True? Is it Helpful? Is it Inspiring? Is it Necessary? Is it Kind? (THINK)

What Is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is using technology to hurt, tease, or embarrass someone on purpose. It can happen through texts, social media, games, or online comments. It's never okay — and it can have serious real-world consequences.

What To Do

If you see cyberbullying: DON'T join in. DO take a screenshot. Tell a trusted adult. If it happens to you: block the person, don't respond, and show an adult. Remember — reporting is the right thing to do, not 'tattling'.
