1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing okstem.org or creating a student account, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 13, your parent or guardian must agree on your behalf by creating the account for you.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not create an account. You are still welcome to browse our courses without an account — no agreement is required to read lessons.

2. Our Mission and Your Access

OKSTEM Foundation exists to provide free, high-quality STEM education to K–12 students across Oklahoma. Every course, lesson, quiz, and interactive activity on this platform is free of charge and always will be.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use our courses for your own educational purposes. This right is free and has no time limit as long as you comply with these terms.

3. Student Accounts

When you create an account you are responsible for:

Accounts are for individual use only. Do not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of other students without their knowledge. Each student should have their own account so their progress is accurately tracked.

If you believe someone else has accessed your account, contact us at info@okstem.org immediately.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use OKSTEM only for lawful educational purposes. You agree not to:

These rules exist to keep the platform fair, safe, and free for every student who uses it.

5. Course Content and Intellectual Property

All course content on okstem.org — including lessons, explanations, quizzes, interactive activities, code examples, illustrations, and the overall curriculum structure — is the property of OKSTEM Foundation and is protected by copyright law.

You are welcome to:

You may not:

The OKSTEM name, logo, and branding are trademarks of OKSTEM Foundation and may not be used without written permission.

6. Accuracy of Course Content

OKSTEM Foundation is committed to delivering accurate, rigorous, and up-to-date STEM education. We believe our course content is sufficient to genuinely teach the skills and concepts covered. We review and update lessons regularly to correct errors and improve quality.

If you find an error in any lesson — a wrong answer, a broken activity, or content that seems outdated — please report it to info@okstem.org. We take accuracy seriously and will address reported issues promptly.

7. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete any account that violates these terms, attempts to abuse or damage our platform, or engages in behavior that harms other users or the integrity of the site.

In most cases we will attempt to notify you before taking action. For serious violations such as attempted unauthorized access, accounts may be suspended immediately without notice.

If you believe your account was suspended in error, contact us at info@okstem.org and we will review the situation.

8. Changes to the Platform

We are constantly improving OKSTEM. We may add new courses, update existing lessons, change the way features work, or occasionally take parts of the platform offline temporarily for maintenance. We will not remove content you are actively working through without reasonable notice.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of this platform that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oklahoma.
